We have added extra puppy classes this month to be held at Perranarworthal Village Hall 5 Saturdays at 10.30 – 11.15 AM plus one Friday Evening at 6.45 – 7.30 PM

Saturday 10th January – Friday 16th  – Saturday 21st February

Dates for the puppy course starting on the 25th February. Wednesday 25th, Saturday 28th February , Wednesday 11th, Wednesday 18th, Wednesday 25th of March and 1st April 2026. The Saturday is a one off change of day. The majority of our classes are on Wednesday evenings.

3rd June – 15th July 2026 (closed 1/7/26)

22nd July – 19th August 2026

9th September – 21st October 2026 (closed 7/10/26)

28th October – 2nd December 2026

Puppy Enrolment Information

Thank you for your interest in our training club.  We accept puppies from 10 weeks old having had their first vaccination as we use an indoor venue, there is ample parking so you can carry your puppy into the hall if you have any concerns, Please check with your vet for advice. Puppies crucial learning and socialisation age is from 8 weeks old so we feel it is important that puppies have the opportunity to start their learning as soon as possible. Numbers for each class will not exceed 10 puppies. Once each class is full, sorry but we cannot accept anymore applications. We do have classes for dogs from 20 weeks old at Chiverton Riding Centre.

No dogs are allowed on the play area in front of the hall, There is a notice on the gate as you drive in.

We train basic obedience and allow the puppies to develop social skills by inter-acting with each other in a controlled environment. The aim of the club is to encourage responsible dog ownership and enable you to have a happy, healthy, well socialized and well mannered dog.

Duration of the classes are 45 minutes. Class times are 6.00 PM, 6.45 PM and 7.30 PM. When you Email us please give us your puppy’s age, Breed and name so that we can add you to the appropriate group.  The training methods are kind, fair and effective and take place in a relaxed happy environment. As part of the training, you and your puppy will have the opportunity of working towards the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Award.

The course fee, which is payable in advance is £60.00 and includes club membership. If you wish to enrol please send a completed application by email (address below). We only accept payment by way of BACS transfer which we will let you know the payment details once you have emailed us.

We will email you confirmation of your place once payment is received, along with a “Welcome Pack” including directions to the hall. We have a Puppy WhatsApp group which you can join whilst on the course, please let us know if you wish to join this group for the duration of the course.
